THREE strategies to create MORE time in your day
What’s his secret?
You know who I’m talking about.
That guy who has it ALL together.
He’s CEO of an amazing company, he’s a brilliant parent, he treats his body like a temple - AND he finds time to be a member of the school council.
As for you? Struggling to keep your head above water.
So - the big question. HOW does he do it - and how can you do it too?!
Set (realistic) goals
As well as countless productivity strategies to keep you on track, it’s super important to be realistic about what you can achieve in a single day.
If you’re wildly optimistic about what’s humanly possible to achieve in 24 hours, you’re setting yourself up to fail before you’ve even started.
I religiously set three big priorities for each day. I make it my mission to complete them, and focus on them 100% until they’re done.
Find your purpose
When you can find your reason ‘why’ behind even the smallest, most mundane tasks on your daily to-do list - everything becomes so much easier.
Tony Robbins’ Rapid Planning Method is a BRILLIANT example of this.
It’s about working through your ultimate vision for what you want in life, and for who you want to be - and working on the tasks that take you closer to that goal.
Delegate, delegate, delegate
If you finish every day feeling like there just weren’t enough hours to get everything done - then you’re probably right.
It’s impossible to be everything for everyone all the time. And, if you’re trying to do just that, then you’re on a one way trip to BURNOUT.
Take some time to write down everything you have to do. I mean EVERYTHING!
If it doesn’t make you happy, and if it doesn’t HAVE to be you - outsource it.
Washing the car? Gone!
Doing the ironing? Forget it.
Bookkeeping? No thanks…
Reading stories to my girls, developing my business strategy, onboarding amazing new clients - that’s ALL me!!
What’s next?
These tips take time and discipline to implement - but it’s SO worth it.
I’d love to know which of these you’ll be incorporating into your life and if you have any other advice that you’ve used to streamline your life.
