How to ask for help in your business
What’s the best gift you could receive in your biz?
Is it the answers to your questions from someone who’s been there, done that?
Maybe it’s some renewed energy and inspiration after feeling run down and frustrated after a tough year?
Perhaps it’s simply more hours in the day.
I’ll let you in on a little secret - the answer is just one step away...
Open your mind and ask for help - and give yourself your dream present this Christmas.
1. Find a mentor
It can be frightening to approach someone you admire in the world of business in search of their guidance and support. You’re not alone if the mere thought of this fills you with dread!
Make sure you do your research. Find out as much as you can about your industry and who you’re looking to receive help from.
Remember - people LOVE authenticity, honesty, and feeling as though they can genuinely help other people.
The worst that can happen is that they decline - which given that they are likely to be super busy with their other commitments is a genuine possibility.
Don’t take it personally - keep going and don’t lose hope. You WILL find someone!
2. Invest in a course
I’m a huge advocate of continuous personal development.
Just because I’m CEO doesn’t mean that I’m not always on the lookout for opportunities to level up my skillset to make sure I’m killing it for my clients.
So - don’t fall into the trap of feeling like you have to do it all on your own. Investing in a course or training programme will leave you feeling engaged, enthusiastic and super inspired - raring to go and full of VALUE for your customers.
3. Collaborate with an elite VA
Give yourself the gift of time this Christmas by committing to find your perfect match in an elite virtual assistant.
You’ll be able to get rid of the tasks you HATE doing, or those that you really struggle with - giving yourself the headspace you need to smash it as CEO.
An experienced virtual assistant is much more than a safe pair of hands. They’re experts at reading your business and giving you creative solutions to the problems you know you have - and even to some that you aren’t currently aware of.
They’ll help you to stay on track with your goals and aspirations - helping you to feel fulfilled at work and at home.
