How To Grow Your Business (Even During A Pandemic)
There’s no denying that the pandemic has knocked so many of us entrepreneurs for six this year.
In the world of business, it felt like overnight we were waking up to completely different businesses.
Clients, projects and jobs cancelled — just like *that*.
With all of the uncertainty, you’d be forgiven for thinking that 2020 just wasn’t meant to be your year — and that any dreams of growth would need to be parked for the foreseeable future.
But you’d be wrong!
Here are my top tips to growing your business — even during the pandemic.
Stay in your zone of genius
Growth is ALL about understanding which tasks you should be doing — and which ones you need to get off of your plate.
Making a constant effort to stay in your zone of genius is an absolute must if you want to stop feeling like you’re treading water and get into the fast lane.
Take some time with a pen and paper and get really present about the activity in your business that really moves the needle — anything that has to be you — and do whatever it takes to drive 80% of your time into it.
It’s tough to begin with, but trust me when I say this will be a total game changer!
That’s why I’ve included an interactive ZOG checklist in my brand new product, the Smart Business Owner Templates, to keep busy entrepreneurs just like you focused on their goals and crushing it in their biz.
Stay consistent
There’s a saying that consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you — and that is SO true in business.
It’s not sexy, but consistency is one of the BIGGEST business growth hacks you can ever tap into — whether it’s staying in your zone of genius, committing to your mindful morning routine or maintaining your social media presence.
So — even though it feels hard right now and things might not be going how you planned, I’m going to challenge you to keep showing up.
Make sure you’re there for your clients, your peers and your audience, especially when it feels tough — and it will pay back big time if you stick around long enough to reap the rewards.
Find your remote superstars
If you’re going to stay in your zone of genius and keep consistent, chances are that you’re going to need some support to keep it all going — and just because many of us are working from home doesn’t mean we have to work alone.
By getting the things that clutter your path to success off your plate, you’ll have the headspace to shift into the next gear. More than that — the people you’ll be working with will be in their zone of genius when taking over these tasks for you too.
That means bigger and better results across the board.
